A Message From The Town Clerk

The Town Clerk's Office is Responsible for:
- Maintaining and custodian of official town records such as minutes, ordinances resolutions and contracts
- Preparing & publishing Town Council meeting agendas and minutes
- Posting notice of Town Council meetings
- Attending Town Council meetings and recording official Town Council actions
- Preparing updates and maintaining the Carrboro Town Code
- Provides certified copies of Town Council actions
- Coordinating the Advisory Boards & Commissions application and recruitment process
- Issuing Statements of Domestic Partnership
- Providing support to the Mayor and Council members
- Federal and State Legislative Liaison
- Notary Public services
